Something about the sea, for us to see..
We are told that our sins are cast into the sea. Then brother John tells us in Rev.13, that one beast shall rise from out of the sea. This is a prophetic Word for us in these last days. So now it makes more sense why Christ showed Peter how to walk on the sea. He wanted us to know (see) that He has authority over everything in and beneath the sea. In Christ name we do too. This is why when Peter started to walk on the water (sea) things began to shake! Satan didn’t want us to know our authority over him!
Here’s the thing, when Christ had Peter to walk upon the water, it showed dominion over much more than fish in the sea, which was given to us by Adonai in the beginning, but over the enemy too. So that we all would have a reference of mankind through Christ no longer needing to part the sea to cross it, but now having the power in Christ name, to walk upon it.
In that day the LORD will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.Recommended1 recommendationPublished in
